Sill Riding in the Back of the Bus

Perhaps most illustrative of the Government’s national disregard for the poor, this story has been marginalized, and if it receives any airtime at all, it’s likely cast either into the anecdotal “darn kids” category or as a hard-line conservative’s statement against people of color doing whatever the hell they want, again. The fact is, this kid justifiably stole a bus – saved 100 lives in doing so, and we’ve no room for that in our Police State media. If this type of action is condoned, it’s only a matter of time before some desperate (perhaps justified) person of color steps up and steals the microphone off of Bill O’Reiley’s lapel and begins reciting a laundry list of in-house atrocities that the US has committed against her own people. Suddenly a bus of 100 illegal refugees might just transform into 5,000,000 fed up Americans storming the capital, eager to take back their tax dollars, their very lives from a government that’s still having trouble reconciling the foundations of this nation’s bloody history against caring – at all - for it’s own.
